1898 - Aleixandre was born in Seville, Spain on April 26, 1898.
1913 - Received his high school diploma at Colegio Teresiano.
1920 - Attended and graduated with a degree in law at the University of Madrid. Became an assistant professor at the School of Mercantile Management in Madrid.
1928 - Published his crystalline collection of poems of nature and love entitled Ambito.

1977 - Received the Nobel Prize laureate for Literature.
