Aldrich, Robert

1918 - Aldrich was born in Cranston, Rhode Island on August 9, 1918.

1938 - Attended Moses Brown School nad went to study economics at the University of Virginia.

1941 - Started his film industry career with a minor job at Radio-Keith-Orpheum Pictures.

1950 - Directed television series.

1954 - Directed his first feature film entitled The Big Leaguer.

1960 - Directed the gothic film entitled "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?".

1967 - Directed the war film entitled The Dirty Dozen.

1974 - Directed the film, The Longest Yard.

1983 - Died in Los Angeles, California on December 5, 1983.
