Ainsworth, William Harrison

1805 - Ainsworth was born in Manchester, England on February 4, 1805.

1817 - Attended the Manchester Free Grammar School.

1820 - Started writing plays.

1822 - Quits the Grammar School and took up a degree in law.

1826 - Married Anne Frances Ebers on October 11, 1826.

1830 - Began to practice law and was associated with Fraser's Magazine.

1839 - Became the editor of Bentley's Miscellany.

1882 - Died in Reigate on January 3, 1882.
