Ahmad Shah Bahadur
1725 - He was born to Mohammed Shah. 1748 - He succeeded his father to the throne as the 15th Mughal Emperor at the age of 23. 1754 - He inherited a much weakened Mughal state and after ruling unsuccessfully for 6 years. - He was blinded and killed in his sleep on a night in January at the age of thirty by Wazir Ghazi-ud-Din.
