Agnos, Arthur Christ

1938 - Agnos was born on September 1, 1938.

1956 - Received his BA at Bates College.

1958 - Received his MA at Florida State University.

1973 - While attending a meeting of the California Commission on Aging, Agnon was shot twice at point blank range by a black man.

1976-1988 - Elected as a member of the California State Assembly.

1988-1992 - Became Mayor of San Francisco for four years.
