          - He married Caroline Aagard.

1838 - Working as a doctor, he wrote poetry in his spare time. Only one book was published while he was alive.

1849 - He was a doctor on Funen the third largest island of Denmark.

         - He was a close friend of the poet Christian Winther.

1856 - He was died on the 21st of July.

1863 - "Efterladte Digte" ("Posthumous poems") was published after his death.
