1799 - Alcott was born in New Haven County, Connecticut on November 29, 1799.
1814 - Worked as a factory worker in a clock factory.
1823 - Worked as a teacher in Bristol, Connecticut.
1830 - Married Abby May.
1834 - Opened his own school, the "Temple School" in Boston.
1839 - The school was closed because he admitted an African-American student that is objected by most of the parents.
1840 - Migrated to Concord, Massachusetts.
1842 - Started a utopian socialist experiment in farm living and nature meditation as tending to develop the best powers of body and soul but was not successfull.
1868 - Published his book titled Tablets.
1872 - Published his book titled Concord Days.
1882 - Published his book titled Sonnets and Canzonets.
1888 - Died in Boston on March 4, 1888.
