1929 - He was born in the Bronx on the 17th day of February this year.
1950 - He obtained a B.A., summa cum laude, in English Literature from Yeshiva University.
1955 - He served in South Korea from this year up to 1957.
1958 - He married Adena Sara Mosevitzsky, a psychiatric social worker, whom he met in 1952 at Camp Ramah in the Pocono.
2002 – He died of brain cancer in Merion, Pennsylvania, on the 23rd of July this year.
