1891 – Born on December 30th in Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise, France. The  leader of the Republican Independents in France and premier.

1919 – The director of a tannery.

1929 – Began his career in politics with election as mayor of Saint-Chamond, a position he held until he retired.

1936-1938 – He was a politically moderate deputy and a senator.

1950 – French public works and transport minister.

1952 – French finance minister and the prime minister of France.

         – Pinay attended the Bilderberg inaugural meeting in Oosterbeek, Holland during May.

1955 – French foreign minister.

1958 – French finance and economic affairs minister.

1969 – Pinay together with Jean Violet, a Lawyer working for the French Intelligence Service SDECE, and Archduke Otto von Habsburg, heir to the Austrian throne, formed Le Cercle, and secretly began recruiting men of influence as members.

1994 – Died on December 13th in Saint-Chamond.
