Pinault, François-Henri
1962 - Born on May 28th in Rennes, Brittany, France. French businessman.
1987 - Joined the Pinault Group where he carried out various duties in the Group’s main subsidiaries.
- Started as a salesman at the Evreux branch of Pinault Distribution, a subsidiary specialised in the import and distribution of wood.
1988-1989 - Created and was in charged of the company’s purchasing unit.
- Appointed CEO of France Bois Industries, the company comprising the industrial activities of the Pinault Group.
1990 - He returned to Pinault Distribution to become Chairman.
1993 - Enlarged his responsibilities by being appointed Chairman of CFAO and a member of the Management Board of Pinault Printemps Redoute.
1997-2000 - He was appointed Chairman and CEO of Fnac.
2001 - Became co-managing director of Financière Pinault.
2003 - Appointed Chairman of the Artémis Group.
