1831 – Born on the 8th of July.

1853 – Pemberton married Wesleyan College student Ann Eliza Clifford Lewis and moved to Columbus, Georgia.

1870 – He moved his family to Atlanta and in March of that year was given US patent for an Improved Medical Compound From Globe Flower.

1886 – He created the formula in a brass kettle in his backyard on the 8th of May.

1887 – Sold Coca-Cola formula to Asa Griggs Candler.

1888 – Died on the 16th of August, only a few months after Candler incorporated the first Coca Cola Corporation.
