1729 - Born in Lexington on July 13th. He was the leader of the Lexington minute-men in the skirmish at Lexington.

1775 - In the early-morning hours of April 19th, Captain John Parker, forty-five-year-old veteran of the French and Indian War, stood with his single company of Minutemen on the village green at Lexington, Massachusetts.

         - He died from tubercolosis on September 17th.
