1962 - Palahniuk was born in Pasco, Washington on February 21, 1962.
1982 - Attended the University of Oregon taking up Journalism. While studying, he worked as an intern for National Public Radio's KLCC in Eugene, Oregon.
1986 - Graduated with a degree in Journalism at the University of Oregon.
1988 - Quit his job as a journalist and went to volunteer work for a homeless shelter, volunteered at a hospice as an escort, provided transportation for terminally ill people.
1992 - Began writing fictional articles.
1996 - Published his first novel "Fight club".
1999 - Wrote two novels namely: Survivor and Invisible Monsters.
2001 - Finished his fourt novel "Choke".
2003 - Published his novel "Diary"
