Olney, Richard
1835 - Born on the 15th of September in Oxford, Massachusetts.
1856 - He studied at Brown University and Harvard Law School.
1859 - He began practicing law in Boston, and attained a high position at the bar.
1874 - He served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
1893 - He became a U.S. Attorney General. During the Pullman Strike.
1894 - He instructed the District Attorneys to secure from the Federal Courts Wrist of Injunctions restraining the strikers from acts of violence.
1895 - He quickly elevated U.S. foreign diplomatic posts to the title of Embassy.
1917 - He died on the 8th of April in Boston, Massachusetts.
