O'Ree, Willie
1935 - Born on the 15th of October in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada.
1958 - He became the the first black player in Ice Hockey league history.
1961 - He played in only two games that year, and came back to play 43 games.
- He won two scoring titles in the Western Hockey League (WHL).
1984 - He was inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame.
- He became the Director of Youth Development for the NHL/USA Hockey Diversity Task Force.
