O'Connor, Maureen

1981 - Began practicing law in Summit County, Ohio.
1985 - Appointed a magistrate of the Summit County Probate Court.
1986-1993 - Mayor of San Diego(1st female mayor).
1993-1995 - Elected as a judge of the Summit County Court of Common Pleas.
1995-1999 - Elected to the office of Summit County prosecutor.
1999-2003 - Lieutenant Governor of Ohio.
2002-2003 - O'Connor was elected to the Ohio Supreme Court, defeating Democrat Timothy Black.
