Norton, Fletcher(1st Baron Grantley)

1756 - He was elected member of parliament for Appleby.

1762 - He was appointed solicitor-general for England.

1763 - He become the Attorney General for England and Wales.

1769 - He became a privy councillor and chief Justice in Eyre.

1770 - He was elected Speaker of the House of Commons.

1782 - He became 1st Baron Grantley of Markenfield Hall.

1789 - He died on the 1st of January.
