1931 - John Frederick Lange, Jr. who’s pen name is John Norman was born on the 3rd of June this year in Chicago, Illinois.
1953 – He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska in this year.
1956 - He married Bernice L. Green on the 14th of January this year.
1957 – He obtained his Master of Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
1963 – He became a Doctor of Philosophy this year from Princeton University where he holds a Ph.D. and is a professor at Queens College of the City University of New York in New York City.
1970 – During this year until 1980s, he was better known as the author of the Gor series.
1974 – He wrote the non-fiction story “Imaginative Sex.”
2001 – As he was so famous with his Gor series, he wrote, “Witness for Gor” which is his latest so far.
