1891 – Born on the 1st of April in St. George, Ontario, Canada.

1919 – He was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

1929 – He became the leader of the small Progressive bloc (as most UFOers now called themselves).

1937 – He ran and was elected as a Liberal.

1942 – He resigned from the cabinet in opposition to Hepburn’s refusal to allow a Leadership Convention.

1943 – He was chosen as Liberal leader and Premier.

1961 – He died on the 22nd of October in St. George, Ontario.
