Nix, Robert Nelson Cornelius Sr.
1898 - Born on the 9th of August in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
1921 - He graduated from Lincoln University (Pennsylvania).
1932 - He became active in the Democratic Party as a committeeman.
1934 - He became a special assistant deputy attorney general of Pennsylvania.
1958 - He defeated two opponents in a Special Election to fill a congressional vacancy.
1975 - He introduced an amendment to the Foreign Military Sales Act.
1978 - He was the chairman of the Committee on the Post Office and Civil Service and chairman of the
Subcommittee.
1987 - He died on the 22nd of June.
