Neumann, Robert Gerhard
1916 - Born on the 2nd of January in Vienna, Austria.
1940 - He received a Master of Arts degree from Amherst College.
1946 - He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.
1970 - He felt compelled to remain at work at the Embassy, and resigned his professorship.
1973 - He became the ambassador of Morocco.
1976 - He began teaching again at Georgetown University.
1981 - He was called into the diplomatic community.
1983 - He abruptly resigned due to a personal conflict.
1990 - He remained a fellow at Georgetown University until his retirement.
1999 - He died on the 18th of June in Bethesda, Maryland.
