Neto, Agostinho Antonio

1922 - Born on the 17th of November in Bengo, Angola.

1940 - He became an important member of a movement in Angola.

       - He was also aided in several occasions by the Portuguese Communist Party.

1975 - He was one of the first members of the MPLA.

       - He was succeeded in his capacity as president of the state and MPLA leader.

1976 - He was awarded the Lenin Peace Prize.

1979 - He died on the 10th of September in Moscow, Soviet Union.
