Neruda, Jan

1834 - Born on the 9th of July in Prague, Bohemia.

1860 - He became a Freelance journalist and writer.
      

         - He participated all the central cultural and political struggles of his generation.

1877 - He was known for his satirical depiction of the petty bourgeois of Prague.

1957 - He translated his short stories in English.

1891 - He died on the 22nd of August.
