1887 – Born on the 3rd of February in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Northwest Coast of Africa.

1935 – He worked closely together with the Spanish Communist Party.

1936 – He became a university professor of Physiology.

1937 – He became the President of the Government in Spain.

1939 – He remained in Spain until the final collapse of the Republican front.

       – He organized the S.E.R.E. to help republican exiles.

1956 – He died on the 12th of November in Paris, France.
