1959 - Born on the 16th of October in Brazil.

1988 - He was the President of Morris Air Corporation.

1999 - He became the Chief Executive Officer of Open- Skies.

2000 - He started his own airline JetBlue which eventually became one of the most profitable airlines in the States. The same year he disclosed to CNN that he has an Adult Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADD).

2002 - He donated his entire salary to a catastrophic fund.

2007 - He still retains his position as non-executive Chairman of the Board.
