1903 - Born on the 26th of February in Imperia, Italy.

1924 - He graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano.

1927 - He passed the exams to become a professor.

1933 - He became a full professor and the director of the Institute of General Chemistry of Pavia University.

1935 - He was appointed full professor in physical chemistry at the University of Rome.

1938 - He took the head of the Department of Chemical Engineering.

1963 - He won a Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

1979 - He died on the 2nd of May in Bergamo.
