Natta, Alessandro
1918 - Born on the 7th of January in Oneglia, Italy.
1945 - He returned to Italy and joined the PCI (Italian Communist Party) in Imperia.
1969 - He drew up the report proposing the expulsion from the party of the Manifesto Group.
1984 - He was elected as Secretary of Italian Communist Party.
1986 - He was confirmed as leader during the Florence Congress.
1988 - He was forced to resign by a heart attack.
2001 - He died on the 23rd of May.
