1860 - He went to England for the New York Illustrated News.

1862 - He worked his first caricature, the cartoon "Peace".

1873 - He toured the United States as lecturer and sketch-artist.

1890 - He published Thomas Nast's Christmas Drawings for the Human Race.

1892 - He returned to the Republicans and support Benjamin Harrison.

1902 - He died on 7th of December in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
