Napolitano, Janet Ann
1957 - Born on the 29th of November in New York City.
1991 - She served as Attorney for Anita Hill.
1993 - She was appointed by President Bill Clinton as United States Attorney for the District of Arizona.
1998 - She ran for and won the position of state Attorney General.
2002 - She won the Gubernatorial Election with 46 percent of the vote.
2004 - She appeared at Kerry for campaign events and spoke out against passage of Proposition.
2005 - She supports legal Abortion and the Death Penalty for serious crimes.
- She was the recruitment chair for the Democratic Governors Association.
2006 - She proposed that a possible future vote on a state Constitutional Amendment banning same-sex
marriage.
- She is also the current chair of the National Governors Association.
- She is the first Female Governor of Arizona.
