1963 - Born on October 10th in Hong Kong. Anita Mui is the queen of Hong Kong's pop-music industry.
1983 - She won in a singing contest and her life as a pop-singer began.
1986-1988 - She started her acting career at about the same time, usually starring with Anthony Chan in such films as Huai nu hai and Yi qi liang fu.
- She had won a couple of "Best Female Singer" awards in the mid-'80s and her acting career's climax was winning "Best Actress" (both Golden Horse in Taiwan and Hong Kong Film Award) for Yin ji kau.
1992 - Had an affair with Jackie Chan until Chan broke it off.
2003 - Announced that she has cancer of the cervix and is determined to fight it.
- Died of cervical cancer on December 30th in Hong Kong, China.
