Patsy Matsu Takemoto (Takemoto)
1927 - Born on the island of Maui on the 6th of December.
1951 - Mink obtained her juris doctor.
1956 - She was elected to the territorial legislature representing her district in the House of Representatives.

1977 - Mink gave up her seat in Congress to run for a vacancy in the United States Senate.
