1920 - Born at 11 Mallord St, Chelsea, London at 8 a.m. on the 21st of August.
1929 - He first attended Gibbs School, an independent school in London.
1942 - He received his commission in July and was posted to the Middle East and Italy.
1948 - On the 24th of July, Milne married his first cousin Lesley Selincourt.
1951 - Milne and his wife moved to Dartmouth to start the Harbour Bookshop.
1974 - Milne decided to publish the first of three autobiographical books.
1996 - Died peacefully in his sleep on the 20th of April.
