Menendez, Robert(Bob)
1954 - Born on January 1st in New York City. A Representative and Senator from New Jersey.
1972 - He graduated from Union Hill High School, Union Hill, New Jersey.
1976 - Received his B.A. from Saint Peter’s College, Jersey City, New Jersey.
1978 - Was a member of the Union City, New Jersey, board of education and a chief financial officer.
1986 - The mayor of Union City, New Jersey. The 1st Hispanic mayor in New Jersey.
1987 - Was a member of the New Jersey state general assembly.
1993 - Elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Third and to the six succeeding Congresses.
2003 - The chairman of House Democratic Caucus.
2006 - Was appointed to the United States Senate to fill vacancy caused by resignation of Jon S. Corzine, and took the oath of office on January 18th.
