1942 - McCartney was born in Liverpool, England on 18th of June.
1957 - He met John Lennon.
1957-1960 - Made his first appearance with "The Quarrymen" on the 18th of October, for a Conservative Club.
1958 - Later joined by George Harrison on the 12th of March.
1960 - In May, they tried different names including "Silver Beatles" then later on came up with "The Beatles" on August.
1960-1970 - Member of the Beatles.
Bass player - Piano.
1963-1967- Dated Jane Asher (Sister of Peter Asher, of Peter and Gordon).
1967- Met Linda for the first time.
1968- He starts dating Linda.
1969-1998 - He was married to Linda Eastman in March of 1969.
1995 - Linda was diagnosed and resulted with breast cancer, and her condition soon grew worse as the cancer spread to her liver. Linda McCartney died on 17th of April.
2002-2006 - Married Heather Mills and later had a daughter, Beatrice Milly McCartney.
30 July 2006, he filed for divorce from Heather Mills citing "unreasonable behaviour."
McCartney is a supporter of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Joined the campaign against landmine.
A vegetarian since the death of her wife Linda Eastman McCartney.
