1942 - Marsha Mason, born on the 3rd of April in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward Marion Mason, Jr. and Catharine Kentwood-Mason, she was an only child. She is a Golden Globe Award-winning, Academy Award-nominated American actress and television director.

1965 - Married Gary Campbell an actor.

1973 - Married her second husband, Neil Simon.

       - Won another Best Motion Picture Actress - Drama for Cinderella Liberty.

1977 - Received an award for Best Motion Picture Actress - Musical/Comedy for The Goodbye Girl.

1979 - Nominated Best Motion Picture Actress Musical and Comedy for Chapter Two.

1987 - She directed the television film, Little Miss Perfect.

1993 - Won an award, Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Cheers.

2001 - She opened an herbal medicine shop, selling products from the garden of her home in Abiquiu, New Mexico.

2005 - Last appeared on Broadway in August in Steel Magnolias, with Delta Burke, Frances Sternhagen, Rebecca Gayheart, Lily Rabe and Christine Ebersole
