1921 – Born in San Giorgio di Piano on the 22nd of February.

         – She joined a drama ensemble and later signed on with the Ateneo Theatre Group.

1943 – Masina was gaining notice as a radio actress.

         – On the 30th of October, she and Fellini were married.

1948 – Masina’s first screen credit was the film Without Pity, opposite John Kitzmiller.

1954 – Starred in movies "La Strada".

1956 – "The Nights of Cabiria".

1957 – She won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her portrayal of the title role in Nights of Cabiria, as a prostitute who endures life’s tragedies with innocence and resilience.

1985 – "Ginger and Fred".

1994 – Died from cancer on the 23rd of March, at the age of seventy-three.
