Marshall, Peter
1902 – He was born on the 27th day of May this year in Scotland.
1927 – He was a penniless immigrant when he landed at Ellis Island in New York.
1931 – He graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary.
1935 – He became the pastor of a small, rural church in Covington, Georgia.
1947 – He was pastor of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. and was appointed twice as U.S. Senate Chaplain, serving from January 4 of this year until his death.
1949 – He died on the 26th day of January this year, and was buried at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Washington, DC.
