1901 - Born on February 27th in Pistoia. Italian sculptor, painter and graphic artist.
1917 - Marino Marini enrolled at the Accademia di Belli Arti in Florence.
1929 - Arturo Martini appointed him to the Villa Reale art school in Monza near Milan, where Marino Marini held the chair of sculpture for eleven years.
1935 - He was awarded first prize for sculpture, were early milestones on Marini's road to public acclaim.
1941 - Marini was appointed to the chair of sculpture at the Accademia di Brera in Milan.
1952 - Marini was awarded the prestigious first prize for sculpture at the Venice Biennale.
1980 - Died on August 6th.
