1927 – He was enrolled in Calgary Prophetic Bible Institute.

1935 – He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta as a Social Credit MLA from Calgary.

       – He became Provincial Secretary and Minister of Trade and Industry.

1936 – He married Muriel Aileen Preston.

1943 – He became the Premier of Alberta for the Social Credit of Alberta.

1968 – He established his own consulting firm "Manning Consulting Limited

1970 – He was appointed to the Senate of Canada

1996 – He died on the 19th of February in Calgary, Canada.
