Makeda (Queen of Sheba, Bilqis, Nikaule, Nicaula)
960 - Makeda was born in Sheba (Ethiopia). At the time of King Solomon, the king decided to build a magnificent temple. He sent messengers to invite merchants and engage their business in Jerusalem. A merchant named Tamrin went to Jerusalem to sell his products in which King Solomon was very interested. He went back to report to Queen Makeda about the King of Jerusalem. She was so impressed by the exciting story that the great queen decided to visit King Solomon herself. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bear spices and very much gold, and precious stones. And when she was come to Solomon she communed with him of all that was in her heart. Gave King Solomon 120 talents of gold and precious stones. The Queen gave birth to a boy and named him Menelek, the son of King Solomon.
