Macmillan, [Maurice] Harold

1894 - Born on the 10th of February in Brixton, London, England.

1920 - He married Lady Dorothy Cavendish.

1924 - He was elected to the House of Commons (the lower house of the Parliamentary Of the United

            Kingdom).

1931 - He was reelected to the House of Commons.

1942 - He was sent to North Africa  as British government representative to the Allies in the Mediterranean.

1945 - He became Secretary of State in England.

1951 - He became the Minister of Housing in England.

1954 - On the month of October he became Minister of Defence.

1955 - He served as a Foreign Secretary of England.

         - He became the Chancellor of the Exchequer (title held by the British Cabinet Minister responsible for

            all economic and financial matters.

1957 - He became the Prime Minister of England.

1962 - He negotiated the delivering of American Polaris missiles to the UK under the Nassau agreement 

            (a treaty of United states and U.K).

1963 - On the 18th of October he resigned as a Prime Minister of England.

1986 - On the 29th of December he died at the age of 92 at Birch Grove in Sussex England.
