Lynn, James Thomas

1927 - James Thomas Lynn was born 27th of February in Cleveland, Ohio.

1948 - Graduated from Western Reserve University.

1951 - Lynn graduated from Harvard Law School.

1960-1969 - Worked for Jones, Day, Cockley and Reavis, Cleveland's biggest law firm.

1969 - Named as General counsel for the Department of Commerce.

1971 - Became undersecretary for the department.

1973-1975 - Lynn was sworn in as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

1975-1977 - Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Lynn joined the Board of Aetna in the 1970's, and served as its President and Chairman in the 1980's.
