1855 - Born on March 13th in Boston, Massachusettts. An American astronomer who predicted the existence of Pluto.

1876 - Graduated from Harvard University.

1886-1906 - Author of the books, Chosön: The Land of the Morning Calm, The Soul of the Far East, Noto, Occult Japan, Mars and Mars and It's Canals.

         - Founded the Lowell Observatory in Arizona.

1908 - Married to Constance Savage Keith.

         - Wrote Mars as the Abode of Life.

1916 - Died on November 12th in Flagstaff, Arizona.
