1951 - Born on January 13th in Chamalières. French chef and restaurateur, who was one of the great chefs of the Burgundy wine-growing region.

1975 - He then worked at the La Côte d'Or, which had been a well-known destination during the 60's under the leadership of Alexandre Dumaine.

1991 - Loiseau worked hard to perfect his art at the restaurant and was eventually awarded 3 stars.

1998 - First French chef to list his business on Paris stock exchange.

2003 - Was found shot to death in his home on February 24th in Saulieu, France, an apparent suicide, at age 52.
