Lee, Francis Lightfoot
1734 - Born in Westmoreland County, Virginia on the 14th of October.
1758 - He was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses.
1772 - Francis married Rebecca Plater Tayloe.
1774 - He called for a general congress and a Virginia Convention, which he attended.
1775 - He served, he was a radical patriot, siding with Patrick Henry in opposing the Stamp Act.
1778-1782 - He served in the Virginia State senate.
- He was a delegate to the first Continental Congress.
1797 - Died at his home, “Menokin,” in Richmond County, Virginia on the 11th of January.
