Le Duc Tho(Phan Dinh Khai)
1911 - Born on the 11th of October.
1930 - Le Duc Tho helped found the Indochinese Communist Party.
1945 - He helped lead the Viet Minh, the Vietnamese independence movement against the French.
1955 - He then joined the Lao Dong Politburo of the Vietnam Workers' Party, now the Communist Party of Vietnam.
1956 - Le oversaw the Communist insurgency that began against the South Vietnam government.
1970 - Le and U.S. National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger since February.
1973 - Le Duc Tho and Henry Kissinger were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts in negotiating the Paris Peace Accords a ceasefire and American withdrawal from Vietnam.
1990 - Died on the 13th of October.
