1951 - Born in Huron, South Dakota on the 12th of July.

         - She replaced Farrah Fawcett starting in the second season of the series.

1980 - In January, she sang the national anthem prior to Super Bowl XIV.

1994 - She also starred in the series One West Waikiki.

1996 - Ladd released a children's book, The Adventures of Little Nettie Windship.

2000 - In September, Ladd took over the role of Annie Oakley from Bernadette Peters on Broadway in the revival of Irving Berlin's musical, Annie Get Your Gun.

2001 - She played the lead role until January, when Reba McEntire arrived to take on the role.

2005 - She followed that up with Token Chick: A Woman’s Guide To Golfing With The Boys, an autobiographical book which focused on her love of golf.
