Kelly, William
1786 – He was born on the 22nd day of September this year in South Carolina. He received classic education and studied law, he moved to Tennessee after the bar where he became a judge.
1818 – He moved to Alabama and commenced practice in Huntsville.
1822 – He was elected as a Democratic Republican (later Jacksonian Democrat) to the United States Senate to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of John W. Walker and served for three years.
1825 – He served as speaker at the State House of Representatives.
1830 – He moved to New Orleans, L.A.
1834 – He died on the 24th day of August this year.
