1986 - Received his B.F.A. in Drama at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
1998-2000 - Wrote plays "Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde" and "The Laramie Project".
2004 - Was nominated for Broadway's Tony Award as Best Director (Play) for "I Am My Own Wife".
