Jennings, Jonathan
1784 - Born in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. A Delegate from the Territory of Indiana and a Representative from Indiana.
1807 - Became assistant to the clerk of the house of representatives of the Territorial government.
1809 - Elected a Delegate to the Eleventh and to the three succeeding Congresses.
1816 - A delegate to the State constitutional convention.
- Elected Governor of Indiana.
1822 - Elected as an Anti-Jacksonian to the Twenty-first Congress.
1832 - Served as a commissioner to negotiate with the Indians for the purchase of lands in northern Indiana and southern Michigan.
1834 - Died near Charlestown, Indiana on July 26th.
